It is a sad reality that for many disadvantaged communities around the world, education of girls and young women lags well behind that of their male classmates. Held back due to limited resources and frequently victims of exploitation, young girls face myriad challenges. AFE is proud to sponsor 5 wonderful young girls at our village school at Oolulaimutia in Kenya and advanced university education for Emily in Kenya and Bunnisa in Thailand.

Wildlife & Tourism can either be a blessing or a curse (for the animals that is) depending upon the ethics of your visit. At AFE Adventures, we strongly support humane travel and the work of heroic organizations such as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, Diane Fossey Gorilla Conservation- Rwanda and Wildlife SOS in India. All contact with non-human animals is conducted with ethical sanctuary partners. We offer no riding, bathing or shows.
